Założycielem i animatorem teatru jest Janusz Zbiegieł - aktor - piosenkarz.
W 1989 roku wyjeżdża do Paryża i trafia do" Conserwatoire Mobel" - w którym spędza kilka miesięcy, uczestniczy w targach MIDEM w Cannes, nagrywa płytę i bierze udział w koncertach promocyjnych.
Największą i najgłębszą fascynacją, którą zaszczepiła Januszowi Alice Dona, właścicielka "Conserwatoire Mobel" w Paryżu, pozostało do dziś zauroczenie osobowością i twórczością Brela.
Tak powstał spektakl:"Brel raz jeszcze" - monodram śpiewany, sztandarowa pozycja "Krakowskiego Teatru Piosenki Francuskiej". Spektakl śpiewany w języku francuskim, wsparty listami Brela do jego żony, cieszący się zasłużoną popularnością u widzów, oraz znakomitymi recenzjami, zarówno w prasie polskiev jak i zagranicznej.W repertuarze teatru znajdują się jeszcze:

Theatre de la Chanson Francaise de Cracovie

Ce théâtre a été fondé et est animé par Janusz Zbiegieł, acteur et chanteur.

En 1989, Janusz Zbiegiel est parti à Paris et il a passé quelques mois au Conservatoire Mobel. Il a participé aux Marchés des disques du MIDEM à Cannes. Ensuite, il a enregistré un disque et a participé aux concerts de promotion.C’est Alice Dona, la propriétaire du Conservatoire Mobel qui a eveillé en Janusz la plus profonde fascination par la personnalité et l’œuvre de Brel. Grâce à cet enchantement, nous pouvons admirer le spectacle « Brel encore une fois » qui est la représentation principale du Théâtre de la Chanson Française. Ce monodrame est un accouplement des chansons de Brel, chanté en français avec la présentation des lettres adressées à sa femme. Le spectacle a été très apprécié par les spectateurs et il a obtenu d’excellentes critiques dans la presse polonaise et étrangère. Les chansons sont chantées en demi play back enregistré sur le disque CD. Dans le répertoire du théâtre on trouve aussi :

The Theatre of a French Song in Cracow

The founder and the animator of the theatre is Janusz Zbiegieł - a singing actor.
In 1989 he went to Paris and got to "Conservatoire Mobel" where he spent a couple of months.
He took part in the fair MIDEM in Cannes, he made a record and gave some promoting concerts. The greatest and the deepest fascination implanted in Janusz Zbiegieł by Alice Done, the owner of the "Conservatoire Mobel", has always been the fascination for the personality and work of Brel. In this way a performance I. "Brel Once More" - a sung monodrama, was created. The performance consists of Brel's songs sung in French and recitations of the letters written by Brel to his wife. The performance is one of the most interesting propositions of The Theatre of a French Song and enjoys great popularity among the audience and critics alike in Poland and abroad. The songs are executed with a half playback recorded on CD.
